So I have a Tumblr now
Guest Warriors-ify: Twilight.

ailuronymy:

Warriors-ify: Twilight (Or at least, what I can manage. Haven’t read the series in a while, thank gosh.)

aka, Crane’s apology for constantly putting off the Akatsuki Warriors-ify. It’s gonna happen, I swear.

WARNING: SPOILERS: Or as much as there can be with it being a WARRIORS version of TWILIGHT.

I’m also just gonna be doing a few characters like I did in some of my other Warriors-ifies because Twilight has WAAAAAAAY too many characters that I can stomach Warriors-ifying.

One of my design class projects: to take an existing book, and design a new cover for it.
The logo font is still the same.
I used two photos only. I forget where I got them. Sorry. :( This image is quite old (but if anyone recognizes them feel free to tell me and I’ll add the sources).
Anyway, I feel this cover reflects the tone of the books better than the painted ones, and is closer to the original UK covers.

REBLOG IF YOU ARE A WARRIOR CATS FAN

vecdectec:

I want to see how big the fandom is.

I jokingly suggested running a Warriors campaign with my gaming group and they non-jokingly agreed so now I’ve unironically written up a campaign setting for it.

HELP I’M A HUGE NERD

Warriors-ify: Harry Potter.
Regarding -tooth:

ailuronymy:

-tooth is kind of hilarious; or I find it hilarious, which does not necessarily mean it is…

Anyway.

-tooth is a possible suffix, but should not be used under any circumstances.

Meaning:

-tooth literally describes the teeth of the cat. Where -fang is more metaphorical than literal, -tooth is not. It is also correlating, just like -step is. Hence, the prefix must also indicate the appearance of the teeth, as well as the cat.

If you think about it, it quickly becomes obvious why -tooth is just so silly. Let’s say there is a ginger cat, so it is called Foxkit. It - apparently - has no particular skills and so is given an ‘average’ suffix, for its teeth because it has teeth like a fox.

Every cat has teeth like a fucking fox, they’re all carnivores, what are you doing?

You are essentially saying “this cat is orange and has teeth” - there are better things than that, come on. You only have a handful of animal prefixes to use, because - obviously - you are not going to come across a cat with teeth like a rabbit or other prey animal. And so help me, if I see a fucking Falcontooth, I am ollying outie on a permanent basis, I will do a triple handspring off the deep end and earn myself a medal for my efforts, ehehehe.

Simply put, birds don’t have teeth.

In canon, there is a Jaggedtooth of Shadowclan, who was once a rogue. Hence, receiving his warrior name is in much the same context as a name change, which is why his prefix does not describe his appearance very well - or, you know, at all. I assume his teeth are especially pointy or something, but if you ask me, that’s a shitty reason to receive a name. Then again, Shadowclan had a string of fairly shitty leaders, so perhaps there’s a correlation there.

tl;dr - don’t use -tooth. Just. Do not do it.

Especially not with bird prefixes, God have mercy on your soul.
